Programmer Requirements: Experienced Java programmer and web application developer to take over primary responsibilities of an existing project. Experienced with back-end programming for web-based business applications. Understands web application performance and scalability issues. Understands database design and integration with business applications. Must be completely familiar with Hibernate for Java.Must be willing to work closely with others, and with front-end web developers, under hard deadlines.Must be able to work in development and production environments consisting of many interdependent applications. Technologies and libraries used: - Java - Hibernate - Axis (SOAP) - XStream - Javamail - Apache Tomcat - Eclipse (our primary IDE) - Familiarity with Java build systems, such as ant, is a bonus. - Apache Commons libraries. - We also use our own custom code generation tools. - must be familiar with using SVN which we use as a code repository.
