Support Engineer (Level 2)

Support Engineer (Level 2) ***************************
SysIQ, Inc. – leading provider of eBusiness services is San-Francisco (www.sysiq.com) – is looking for talanted and dedicated individuals to join our support group team as Support Engineer Level 2. Thorough knowledge in the following areas required:

- Unix administration – Shell scripting – Network administration – Relational database & SQL – OS: Solaris, Linux, Windows – Oracle installation/configuration – Tomcat or other application server installation/configuration – HTML – Javascript – XML – Perl – English (upper intermediiate)

Responsibilities: – Communicating with users, making sure their needs are handled properly – Processing user requests – Analyzing incidents and problems – Escalating incidents to appropriate technical specialists – Performing actions (according to known error instructions), required to restore user service as soon as possible – Interact with othe support members and developers in order to track issues – Performing problem root cause investigation and removal – Reporting performed activities group manager

Work schedule: – Shift schedule: 1 week day shift, 1 week off, 1 week night shift, 1 week off – On shift (shift duration 12 hours)
